I haven’t posted in a very long time, as I shattered my wrist a few months back and typing is one of the things I struggled with. However, that being said, I am back and thought that, with winter upon us, I would start posting some simple DIY remedies and herbal topics that may very well help you to get well and/or, stay well.

The one I would like to share with you is called Sinus Snuff. I know it doesn’t sound great, but it really works and I am living proof:

1 tsp powdered goldenseal root
1 tsp powdered bayberry bark
ΒΌ tsp powdered garlic
1 tsp cayenne

Powder, sift, and measure each herb, then combine. Place a pinch of this mixture in your palm or that little hollow that forms on the back of your hand when you lift your thumb, close one nostril and sniff it up into the open nostril. Be prepared for a few sneezes and copious drainage. Repeat with the other nostril.
