E-Eyestrain-Cucumbers are great for eyestrain; decreasing swelling and relieving pain.
Place a slice over each eye, replacing each every 2-3 minutes, for up to 15 minutes.

F-Foot Odor-To relieve foot odor, and before bed, put 3 drops of lavender essential oil on each
foot, massaging in (will also help you sleep). Be sure to put sock on, so that you don’t stain the
sheets.

G-Gastroesophogeal Reflux Disease (GERD) and Heartburn-For relief of nausea, gas,
bloating, and other symptoms of GERD and heartburn, try artichoke extract capsules from
your favorite health food store.

Gout-Gout can be relived by eating 20 tart/black cherries or taking 2 capsules of tart/black
cherry compound/day.

H-Headache-Studies show that peppermint essential oil treats a tension headache as well as
acetaminophen. Add a few drops to a carrier oil such as olive or almond and dab onto
forehead, temple, and/or back of the neck.

Hiccups-1 tsp of granulated sugar actually does help to ease hiccups, which are contractions
of the diaphragm.

High Cholesterol- Taking Vitamin B3 (Niacin) can help to reduce bad cholesterol
(LDL).Check with your doctor prior to using though, as high doses can cause GI, liver, and
glucose intolerance issues.

I-Indigestion-Chewing a piece of fennel will help to dispel gas from the intestinal tract and help
prevent after-dinner belching.

Insomnia-Next time you have trouble sleeping, try 2 capsules of Valerian Root or ½-1 tsp of
Valerian tincture, 30 minutes before bed. Be forewarned, though—-When you open a bottle of
Valerian, it smells like a stockyard, though the capsules actually have no taste.
