E-Eyestrain-Cucumbers are great for eyestrain; decreasing swelling and relieving pain.
Place a slice over each eye, replacing each every 2-3 minutes, for up to 15 minutes.

F-Foot Odor-To relieve foot odor, and before bed, put 3 drops of lavender essential oil on each
foot, massaging in (will also help you sleep). Be sure to put sock on, so that you don’t stain the

I have been away from the blog posts for a bit, as I have started a new job and have been attending orientation. However, as promised, I thought you might enjoy some of the following natural recipes for your pups: Flea recipes-3-5 drops of cedar essential oil or lavender essential oil 1-3 TBSP of water Bandana or your dog’s collar (optional) an eyedropper -Dilute the oil of choice in the water, or neat, if you prefer. Put 5-10 drops on the bandana or collar, rubbing the sides together. Reapply once per week. An extra added help for your pup, is diluting 1-2 drops to 1 TBSP of olive oil and placing at the base of your pup’s tail. You can add 1 tsp of white distilled vinegar or apple cider vinegar to 1 qt of drinking water for every 40 pounds of pup. It helps with fleas and improves the coat. Fly relief in the spring, summer, and early fall-Take lemon slices and add whole clove bits throughout each slice and hang them in the area you are hanging out in. I use dental floss to hang them with. It is amazing how well it works and smells good, too! Natural homemade dry shampoo for dogs-1 cup of cornstarch ½ cup of baking soda 5-10 drops each of lavender and tea tree oils -Mix all together in a shaker, sprinkle on, and brush through. They love the attention, smell 1000 times better, and they are clean! (I take a small mason jar, punch holes in the lid and then get another lid that can be placed over it for storage. This makes an easy way to shake, sprinkle, and store).

Natural Health

I haven't posted in a very long time, as I shattered my wrist a few months back and typing is one of the things I struggled with. However, that being said, I am back and thought that, with winter upon us, I would start posting some simple DIY remedies and herbal topics that may very well help you to get well and/or, stay well.

The one I would like to share with you is called S . . .
